Pancreatic cancer symptoms depends on the part or area that is affected. So, if the person has it in the head part of the pancreas, most likely he will suffer from abdominal pain, fatty tissues in their stool, and a shade of yellow in their skin. A person who is suffering from stomach pain and sudden weight loss has cancer in tail, or in the body of the pancreas.

Here are some of the signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer that some cancer victims are experiencing:

• Stomach pain that may eventually spread out in some areas of the body. This is the most common symptom of pancreatic cancer because the tumor crushes up the organs and the nerves in your abdominal cavity. Although sometimes the pain still spread to the other areas of the body as it makes its way through the nerve pathways in the abdominal region.

• Abrupt change of appetite. As the tumors takes on the abdominal region, they will take away all the healthy cells of essential nutrients, and may also restrain the stomach a little bit. This is the reason why there’s a slight change of appetite which may lead to weight loss.

• Severe itching. This is probably the unusual symptom and this is caused by excessive bile collecting in the skin.

• Jaundice. When it comes to the various signs of pancreatic cancer, jaundice is probably the most common symptom of all. This happens due to the body’s lack of ability to dispose bilirubin wherein it is a byproduct that is being produced by worn out blood cells.

• Nausea. This happens in the more advanced stages of this cancer which may result in the blockage of the digestive tract.

For someone who is more familiar with the symptoms of pancreatic cancer, they are also far more likely to realize the problem with enough time to effectively treat it.
